Health & Blood Donation Camp – Inaugurated by MLA Dinakar Shetty

In our first year of service, Canares Foundation organized a Free Health Check-up and Blood Donation Camp, inaugurated by MLA Dinakar Shetty. This initiative focused on public health awareness, free medical camps in rural areas, blood donation drives, NGO healthcare services, and community health development in Karnataka. The camp benefited hundreds of local residents by providing essential health screenings and encouraging voluntary blood donation.

COVID Relief & Initiative Launch

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Canares Foundation stepped forward to support vulnerable families and senior citizens who were deeply affected. We distributed essential food kits, medicines, masks, and sanitizers to marginalized communities. Special care and health support were provided to elderly people who were at higher risk. Through this initiative, we aimed to reduce fear, spread awareness about safety measures, and ensure that no one was left without basic necessities during the crisis. Our COVID Relief Initiative reflects our commitment to protecting lives and promoting health during challenging times.

Healthcare Support for Senior Citizens

At Canares Foundation, we are committed to providing accessible and affordable healthcare support to elderly people, especially those from marginalized and low-income communities. Many senior citizens struggle with medical expenses, lack of regular health check-ups, and limited access to proper treatment.

Through our community healthcare initiatives, we organize free medical camps, provide basic health screenings, distribute essential medicines, and offer guidance on managing age-related health conditions. We also support home-based care for seniors who are unable to travel to hospitals.

Our goal is to ensure that every elderly person receives dignified care, timely medical attention, and emotional support to live a healthier and more comfortable life.

Access to Safe & Clean Drinking Water

Canares Foundation is committed to ensuring that every community has access to safe and clean drinking water. We work towards installing water purification systems, borewells, and water storage facilities in underserved and rural areas. Our mission is to prevent water-borne diseases, improve hygiene, and promote better health by providing reliable and sustainable water solutions. Through awareness programs and community participation, we strive to create a healthier future where no one suffers due to lack of clean drinking water.

 
 

Women Empowerment

Canares Foundation is committed to empowering women from marginalized communities by providing access to education, healthcare, skill development, and livelihood opportunities. We support women in becoming financially independent, confident, and self-reliant. Through awareness programs, vocational training, and community support initiatives, we aim to create equal opportunities and help women build a better future for themselves and their families.

School Uniform Distribution – Holanagadde

Canares Foundation proudly distributed free school uniforms to students of Holanagadde Government School to support children from economically weaker sections. This initiative promotes education support, child welfare, rural education development, NGO school assistance, and community service in Karnataka. By providing uniforms, we aim to boost confidence and encourage regular school attendance among underprivileged students.

Smart TV for Digital Learning – Gudekoppa

To promote digital education in rural areas, Canares Foundation donated a Smart TV for classroom learning to Gudekoppa Government School. This initiative enhances smart learning, e-learning for government schools, digital classroom support, NGO educational initiatives, and technology for rural students. The Smart TV enables interactive lessons and modern teaching methods for better academic outcomes.

School Furniture & Campus Painting – Hini

Canares Foundation provided school furniture including chairs and desks to Hini Government School, along with complete campus painting. This initiative strengthens infrastructure development in government schools, NGO school renovation projects, rural education improvement, CSR educational support, and community development programs. A better learning environment creates a positive impact on student growth and academic performance.

Television Donation to Government Schools

Canares Foundation donated Televisions to local Government Schools to enhance educational accessibility and visual learning support. This initiative promotes NGO education support programs, rural school development, digital learning solutions, CSR community projects, and quality education for underprivileged children. Access to audio-visual learning tools helps students grasp concepts more effectively.
